I’ve owned three FL5s so far, but I was surprised at how powerful the product is that it makes me want to buy all three.

Honda New Civic Type R Racing Black Package (FL5) was delivered to me in March 2026.

This is my third FL5, but the first RBP with black interior.

The first vehicle is an FL5 with championship white and red interior and will be delivered in October 2022.

The second vehicle is FL5 with Sonic Gray Pearl and red interior and will be delivered in February 2024.

The third vehicle is an FL5 RBP with a red frame and black interior, which will be delivered in March 2026.

This time, let’s take a quick look at three such FL5s, including their interior and exterior.

➀Championship White x FL5 with red interior

First up is the Civic Type R (FL5) with championship white and red interior, which was delivered as the first vehicle in October 2022.

Due to the extremely early delivery time, serial numbers worldwide were in the 1,000s.

For me, the FL5 was my first 6-speed manual sports car, and because it was my first manual car, I was able to live a fun and elegant Type R life thanks in part to the rev match system.

Looking back, if I hadn’t encountered this car, I might never have become interested in various domestic sports models, and I might never have bought my second or third Type R.

One of its charms is that the wide and low body stands out even more because of its expansive white color.

These days, new and new cars are getting bigger and bigger, but the larger FL5 has a strong presence, and above all, it gives a sense of security when driving.

The rear design is highly controversial.

The presence of the three-barrel muffler in the center is obvious, but the slightly drooping panda-like tail lamp design gives off a wide feel while also being charming, so I personally like it a lot.

The interior changes from calm white to exciting red.

And this is the exciting red interior.

It’s an exciting red that depends greatly on the body color, but it goes well with Championship White, and the red colored stitching also makes you feel like you’re in the mood, so the feeling you put into the car is very different from other cars.

Well, more than that, it’s a 6-speed manual transmission model and a large model, so it’s a car that doesn’t allow you to ride it lightly, so it’s true that every time I ride it, I feel physically and mentally tired.

However, there is no doubt that it was a “fun car”, so I am more than happy that the FL5 was my first manual sports car.
