This time, I would like to publish an article about my impressions of the actual vehicle, focusing on the interior.
What was revealed is the upper grade e-POWER G x rosewood interior

This is the actual interior image of the new Elgrand (E53) that was released this time.
The interior color is “Sitan”, a dual tone of black and purple exclusive to the e-POWER G, but Nissan has also released a white and purple “Ginsetsu” color.
However, the official image in the news release only shows rosewood, which is a bit disappointing.

14.3-inch dual monitor is standard equipment on e-POWER G

For the e-POWER G grade, the driver’s seat meter and center navigation display are 14.3 inches.
The e-POWER X grade is equipped with a 12.3-inch dual monitor, but it is possible to increase the size to 14.3 inches as a manufacturer option.

Also, it’s a little hard to understand, but there are charging stations for the driver and passenger seats, but it’s attractive that it comes with a Qi2 compatible mag safe, just like the Maichen version of the New Ariya and New Fairlady Z (RZ34).
The assist grip on the A-pillar and the passenger seat ottoman are the strongest charms that Alver does not have.

This is the passenger side seat.
As you can see in the image, the Elgrand is equipped with a passenger seat ottoman, just like its predecessor, and it is good that both e-POWER X and e-POWER G are equipped as standard.
These features, including the assist grip on the A-pillar, are not available on the competing 40 series Alver, so I think it has a higher appeal.
What’s more, the e-POWER G is equipped with seat ventilation as standard equipment for both the front seats and second-row captain’s seats in addition to seat heating, making it one of the top Nissan vehicles in terms of comfort.
Open second-row captain’s seats take into account occupants of various body types.

And this is the second row captain’s seat.
Unlike the competing models Toyota Alphard/Vellfire, the second row captain’s seat does not have a fixed armrest, but instead comes standard with a retractable armrest.
The reason for this seems to be to allow passengers of various body types to get in and out of the vehicle comfortably, and to make the walk-through from the second row to the third row smoother.

The retractable armrest is also thick, and I’m curious about how soft and firm it is when you rest your elbow on it.
In terms of visual luxury, it is definitely inferior to the Alphard/Vellfire, so the most important point may be to actually sit in it and compare the dynamic feel, such as how quiet it is when driving and the amount of shaking.

The reclining second row seats and the ottoman are impressive when unfolded, and the quality of the seats makes it look like a comfortable lounge while you’re on the move (though I’m concerned about the shoe prints on the ottoman…).
Also, you can see the center table stored between the captain’s seats, and it’s also attractive that the drink holder is not round, but more like a square shape that can also hold paper cartons.
The shape of the third row seat seems to be good, but the sunshades for the second and third rows are manual types.

And there’s also a strangely rare third row seat.
The seat area on both sides is wide, and the seat is thick, making it comfortable to sit on.
However, the second and third row sunshades are manually adjustable roll sunshades rather than electric ones.
On this point, I would have liked it to be electric to compete with the Alphard/Vellfire if possible.
Page 2: Is the development of the third row seat of the new Elgrand (E53) worth paying attention to?
