Civic e:HEV RS is lower than the expected price range

The initial prediction was that the vehicle price alone would reach 5 million yen, and the starting price would be around 5.5 million yen? That’s all I thought, but after installing dealer options that I personally felt were necessary, the starting price barely reached 5 million yen.

By the way, please note that the Civic e:HEV RS does not have any manufacturer options other than the paid body color, and with this partial improvement, the steering wheel heater and rear seat USB port that are standard equipment on higher grades will not be available.

On the other hand, considering the practicality of a 4-door hatchback, the Honda S+ Shift inherited from the Prelude, and the fact that it is equipped with an RS-specific exterior and suspension, it is impressive that the price of the vehicle was kept at around 4.66 million yen in this day and age.

In other words, it’s about 1.5 million yen cheaper than the 6,179,800 yen (tax included) price of the 2-door coupe Prelude, which has the same powertrain, the same platform, and the same Honda S+ Shift, so I think it’s a pretty reasonable price.
